ClearPass 6.7.0.101814 (Universal OVF Image) 


ClearPass 6.7.0 is a MAJOR release. In addition to many new features, there may be VM resource or product feature changes from previous releases that should be reviewed prior to upgrade. Please see the ClearPass 6.7.0 release notes for a list of these changes and contact Aruba Support if you have any questions prior to upgrade. 

This release is delivered via a single image that can be used to create the CLABV, C1000V, C2000V and C3000V. Resource requirements for this release are provided below. 

CLABV

This release has new resource requirements for the CLABV. A warning will be displayed at system boot and an event will be logged in the event viewer if the system requirements are not met.
  • 2 Virtual CPUs
  • 80 GB disk space
  • 6 GB RAM
  • 2 Gigabit virtual switched ports
C1000V

This release has no new resource requirements for the C1000V. The requirements are provided below just for reference.
  • 8 Virtual CPUs
    • Underlying CPU is recommended to have a Passmark score of at least 3000 or higher.
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Disk space:
    • 1000 GB disk space is required for new deployments
  • 2 Gigabit virtual switched ports
  • Functional IOP rating for a 40-60 read/write profile for 4K random read/write = 75
C2000V

This release has new resource requirement recommendation for the C2000V.
  • 8 Virtual CPUs
    • Underlying CPU is recommended to have a Passmark score of at least 9600 or higher.
  • Disk space:
    • 1000 GB disk space is required for new deployments
  • 8 GB RAM (Minimum)
    • 16GB RAM is recommended to align with its hardware appliance counterpart.
  • 2 Gigabit virtual switched ports
  • Functional IOP rating for a 40-60 read/write profile for 4K random read/write = 105

C3000V

This release has no new resource requirements for the C3000V. The requirements are provided below just for reference.
  • 24 Virtual CPUs
    • Underlying CPUs are recommended to have a Passmark score of at least 9900 or higher.
  • Disk space:
    • 1800 GB disk space is required for new deployments
  • 64 GB RAM
  • 2 Gigabit virtual switched ports
  • Functional IOP rating for a 40-60 read/write profile for 4K random read/write = 350

This is the revised ClearPass 6.7.0 Hyper-V installation image. A minor non-service affecting issue was identified shortly after release which required the image to be rebuilt. There are no customer impacting changes between this image and the original.
